Now the insurance company refuses to pay for a needed operation. if the lumps on my vocal cords are not remove they can cause cancer.

It may be who your doctor is, and they won’t cover them.
Some don’t cover certain procedures.
Do some research on your insurance and your policy. If it’s just your doctor that isn’t covered that’s an easy fix, switch docs.
If it’s the procedure that they don’t cover talk to your doctor..sometimes they can work things out. Or do two things at once, tell the insurance company that they are doing this other procedure at the same time.
I had knee surgery in Jan. my insurance didn’t cover this particular procedure, so I talked to my doc, and he said ok well we’ll just add this to it.
